2025 Abilities First Summer Camps
A fun and structured Summer Camp experience for all children ages 3-9, designed to be inclusive for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and differing abilities. The application process will include an in-person evaluation to assess developmental levels and support needs. Pediatric Therapies available on-site during camp. Before and after childcare in our Early Childhood Learning Center MAY be available, spots are limited.
The weeks will be filled with fun activities, engaging experiences and hands on opportunities for learning at age and developmentally appropriate levels. The classroom provides continuity of routines for children already attending a school program during the school year and an initial introduction to a structured school environment for those not currently enrolled in a program. The focus will be on maintaining and developing constructive and imaginary play, following a visual schedule, and addressing sensory needs, peer interaction, social skills, positive behaviors, communication and motor skills, all while enjoying many fun summertime activities. The teachers will incorporate their knowledge of therapeutic and behavioral learning.

The Sensory Safari is the perfect place for your child to explore all five senses! This four-week summer camp at Abilities First will feature animal-themed activities, including scavenger hunts, tasting adventures, learning about animal sounds, playing with textures and smells, and more! Field trips and special themed activities will be a highlight of camp!
June 9 - July 1, 2025
M-F 9am - 3pm
Get your paintbrushes ready for Masterpiece Makers! This art-tastic camp experience takes creativity to the next level. Our second summer camp is perfect for young artists and curious friends! Your little Van Gogh will play with different ways to make art, including water balloon and squirt gun painting, tie-dyeing tee shirts, puffy paints, sidewalk paint, and more! Special activities and field trips will be a highlight of camp!
July 7 - July 30, 2025
M-F 9am - 3pm
Dinosaurs won't be hard to find at the Jurassic Journey! Stomp on down to the final camp of the summer! Your little one will enjoy a variety of dino-related fun: making dinosaur eggs, digging for bones, creating dino nests, exploring flying and stomping dinosaurs, a Carnivore Carnival, and more! Field trips and special themed activities will be a highlight of camp!

Pricing and Payment Information
- Free Preregistration is now available for those who want to get a jump on the process by clicking on the payment buttons below.
- Each camp is $1,200. There are discounts if you purchase 2 or all 3 camps. Deposits are required to hold a space unless you are enrolled in the Early Bird Payment Plan. All balances are due to be paid in full 21 days before each camp begins in order to maintain a spot. If the balance is not paid in full and there is no arrangement in place, your spot may be given to another child without refund. Please see our refund policy below.
- Final payment date for Sensory Safari is Monday April 21, 2025
- Final payment date for Masterpiece Makers is Monday May 19, 2025.
- Final payment date for Jurassic Journey is Monday, June 16, 2025.
- The cost of our Camps can be covered with County Department of Developmental Disabilities Summer Vouchers for those who qualify. **Voucher may not cover the entire amount and the balance will need to be paid out of pocket.
- We offer a $200 multi-child discount for each additional child in the immediate family off the total balance.
- We also offer an Early Bird Payment Plan for additional savings with no deposit required. See below.

- Parents are required to provide a daily lunch for their children. A meal plan can be purchased for an additional $100 per camp.

Early Bird Payment Plan
If you choose to participate in the Early Bird Payment Plan, additional discounts will apply.
No deposit is required if you choose the Early Bird Payment Plan.
The first payment will be due January 5, 2025 and run for 17 weeks.

Prorated plans are available until March 31, 2025 for those who start late or for those who pay ahead.

Refund Policy:
- There are no refunds on payments to the Early Bird Payment Plans.
- If you pay for Summer Camp out of pocket and then receive a voucher, you can request a refund.
- Requests for refunds must be made in writing to [email protected]
- Deposits and payments on camps are refundable on the following schedule:
